2026 Biannual IIIC Scientific Meeting and Retreat
October 31 - November 7, 2026
in Singapore and Vietnam

Dear members and friends,

I look forward to hosting all of you for our 15th Biannual Meeting and Retreat in Singapore and Vietnam.

Please mark these dates in your calendar!

You have two options:

1) Fly into Singapore on Friday October 30 or Saturday October 31, 2026.
Stay one or two nights and join me for a Welcome Dinner on Saturday 31 October as well as a little sightseeing the next morning. We will then fly to Hanoi in the afternoon of Sunday 1 November 2026.
2) Fly directly into Hanoi on October 31 or 1 November 1, 2026.

The meeting has three parts:

Part I: Singapore - Pre-Meeting Welcome Dinner

• Arrival on Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31
  
• Suggested stay: Marina Bay Sands Hotel
  (this is NOT included and has to be booked independently)
  
• Welcome Dinner on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Hotel
  Free of charge to all meeting participants.
  This dinner is the only group activity.
  Everything else has to be organized by yourself.
  
• Departure on Sunday November 1, 2026
  Flight from Singapore to Hanoi (this is NOT included and has to be booked independently) There are several non-stop options available.

Part II: Hanoi - Scientific Meeting

• Arrival on Sunday November 1, 2026
• Individual transfer to hotel
• Stay at Hotel Metropole for 4 nights.
• Scientific program during the mornings from November 2 to 4, 2026.
• Departure Thursday November 5, 2026

Part III: Cruise at Halong Bay - Post-Meeting Retreat

• Departure by bus to Halong Bay on Thursday, November 7
• Boarding of the ELITE OF THE SEAS for a 2-night cruise (We will have the boat exclusively for ourselves.)
• Cruise to the world heritage site of Halong Bay.
• Return to Hanoi in the afternoon of Saturday, 9 November 2026.
